What do your sessions include?
My photo sessions include high resolution digital images displayed in an online gallery where you are free to download, print and share.
Do you have a studio?
No, all of my sessions are done outdoors or in clients’ homes.
How long will it take to receive my images?
Images are available within 2 weeks after your session date.
When will my session be held?
Outdoor sessions are scheduled during golden hour (an hour before sunset) for optimal lighting. Indoor home sessions are scheduled during morning and mid-day hours.
Do you offer maternity and newborn packages?
Yes. Your journey through your pregnancy and baby’s first year is full of special moments to document. I offer maternity, birth (depending on the circumstances, contact me to discuss), fresh 48, newborn, and baby's first-year milestones.
When should I schedule my maternity session?
The standard time frame for taking maternity photos is between 30-36 weeks. However, each woman is different and there are absolutely no rules against doing your photo session outside of this recommended time frame.
Do you offer prints, canvases, albums or other products?
Yes, professional, high quality prints are available for purchase separately through your online gallery. I LOVE seeing my client’s photos hanging in their homes…photos really come to life and fulfill their purpose when they are hung in the home. I provide you the option of ordering professional quality products through me, through the online gallery I use to share your images with you.
Do you photograph weddings?
I currently do not photograph weddings. I love doing engagement sessions though!
Do I receive the copyrights to images?
Your print release explains that copyright always remains with Brit Mitchell Photography. This means that images are not to be used in photo competitions, commercially, or further manipulated and edited using other camera phone filters or image processing software. This is a standard expectation when working with a professional photographer. On the other hand, your print release allows you to share your photos in a variety of ways. This includes social media profiles, email and in print. In fact, I love when you share your photos! When you love your photos, raving about them with your friends and family is the best compliment I can receive.
Do you offer mini-sessions?
Yes, I occasionally offer mini-sessions throughout the year. Please contact me for information regarding upcoming mini sessions.
